Remember the movie "What About Bob?" :) "Baby steps to the door, baby steps to the elevator, baby steps to bus..." We are doing weight loss, What About Bob style! :) It will be all about the "baby steps!"
Have you ever thought about what makes it so hard to shed those unwanted pounds? Is it giving up certain foods? Is it the thought of exercising every day? Is it knowing that it will take 12 months before you find the body you lost somewhere around your second year of college? Stop thinking it's too much and that you can't do it because YOU CAN!!!
You CAN do it! We just need to trick our brains a bit. We will be giving you small challenges to focus on for a short amount of time. Don't tell yourself it will take 12 months - no way! Tell yourself you cannot eat that TODAY ONLY. Tell yourself you only have to do light exercising for 5 days. You know the famous quote "One Day At A Time" - use it. Write it on your mirror - hang it on your fridge - anywhere you need! Cause you all need to worry about is TODAY. A lot of today's will add up.
