Signing up is easy! Just email me or leave a comment on a post here and be sure to include: your name, your height, your town, your starting weight, and your goal weight. That's it!

The Rules

So here's the rules to out Get Fit Challenge

We are running this challenge on Honesty.  You are expected to be honest and true in your reports.

1.)  This is 100% natural.  No fads, diet pills, HCG, no cleansing, etc.  If you are participating you must do it in a healthy natural way.  Nothing that will "boost" your progress is allowed.  Protein and meal replacement shakes ARE allowed. (slim fast for example)

2.) Vitamins are allowed.

3.) Every great once in a while we will have a "$$ pot" that everyone will contribute to.  If our challenge involves putting $$ into a pot for the winner, all $$ must be submitted by deadline.  If it is not, you will not be able to participate in that challenge.

4.)  Please remember this is a community of encouragement.  We do not criticize here.  And we are happy for whoever wins. If there is ever a tie in prize winners, we will draw names.  Winners of $$ prizes (when we do those) will be divided equally among winners.

5.) If you know someone who would like to join, please have them email ifgetfit@gmail.com so we can get them started the right way and at the right time. 

6.) You MUST email me your starting weight, height and name at the start of each challenge.  (Inches are optional) You must email me your ending weight at the end of each challenge.  NO ONE is here to judge you - but logging your weight will help you feel accountable. You MUST take a picture of yourself PRIOR to starting.  Posting that picture is optional.  (if you want it posted please email it to me and we will do it for you) But we want you to have it for your own records so you can SEE your progress. Your weight loss progress will be charted on the blog under the "who's participating" tab.

7.) I am NOT a Dr.  I will provide websites, suggestions, and challenges - but I do NOT take responsibility of your choices.  Please do not starve yourself.  Be healthy.  Be safe.

8.) Progress photos are optional, but we can add one for you any time you want. (must pertain to your weight loss, this isn't Facebook :)  We encourage you to email us recipes, stories, a sample of your food journal, inspirational quotes, etc along the way - we will post them for others to gain from.

9.) HAVE FUN!!!  YOU CAN DO IT!!!
